Simone (シモーヌ, Shimoonu) is the doctor of the town, and the mother of Lucy and Julian. While she puts her patients' well-being first, she occasionally tries new drugs to cure ailments.

  Hello! This is Marika Kouno, the voice of Simone. We just wrapped up recording, and I'd like to say a few words about what it was like to play this little lady. Actually, I guess I shouldn't refer to her as such, since she's a bit older than that. Naturally, I'd like all of you to get on good terms with her. No doubt you'll build up a nice relationship as you grow closer. While I was recording for Simone...I was surprised to discover just how mature she is. She even has kids of her own! Not only that, she's also the town's doctor AND mayor! She has a lot of important roles to play in Rigbarth. While recording my lines, I was mindful of the fact that she seems like a woman who has all her affairs in order. But I wonder what you guys think? To be fair, while she certainly seems reliable...she'll also whip out those dubious injections and insist that people try them! She really treats the other characters with care and kindness, though. So I think it'd be great if you could all offer her your friendship and support. Now, with that out of the way, let's discuss the Rune Factory series itself. I actually first started playing it back when it first came out. A farming simulator where you could also fight monsters felt so unique at the time, and I initially found myself smitten with Mist, one of heroines from the first game. Such a pure girl... But in the end I ended up devoting myself to Tabatha in the hope that she might eventually take off her hat. So that's why if you were to ask me what I'd do in a world like Rune Factory's... I'd probably prioritize farming. And then I'd spend my days trying to find a cute wife or hot husband! I love all the animals, too, of course! That's the nice kind of life I'd want to live. I hope you all enjoy experiencing the world of Rune Factory 5 for yourselves! Come and see me any time you're feeling under the weather. I'll give you a shot in the arm...literally.
