Lucas (ルーカス, Rūkasu) appears in town as an kind traveler with amnesia. He carries around a notebook with things he's learned, but it seems like what he's been looking for in order to remember more about his prior life may be in Rigbarth. He seems to have retained knowledge of ores and gems.

- In the Rune Factory 5 Destined Person ♡ Diagnosis Quiz, Lucas was compared to Leon from Rune Factory 4/Special. If you're given him as a destined partner, the result reads: "The man of your dreams is the amnesiac gentleman Lucas, who appears in the town as a mysterious traveler. He's tall and has a dandy-like appearance. He can get along with anyone without hesitation even if they’re his rival; you'll even be surprised at his knowledge and prowess as you share your ideas equally. You also respect him for his curiosity about everything, and his willingness to to research and figure things out. He’s secretly addicted to Ramen. Why don’t you treat him to a bowl of Ramen every day and make him happy?" The question featuring his chibi art is "Do you like talking to people?"[2]

If you're listening to this, then that means you got your hands on a copy of the game. Thank you very much for playing it. Now that recording is over, I'd like to share my thoughts on how it went. Lucas, the character I play, is a very calm and composed sort of man. Much more calm and composed compared to the characters I usually play, in fact. I rarely have the opportunity to play a character like this, and it was both fun to get into and easy to pull off. He's a little divorced from reality and a bit too laidback at times, but he's also an honest, earnest sort of man. The other characters are often baffled by his antics. But while it may seem like he always has his head in the clouds, I think his real charm lies in his mannerisms. Lucas is an amnesiac, and while in real life I don't think many people have lost all their memories like him...I myself lose them from time to time. For example, I'll find it impossible to remember what happened the night before. Although that hasn't happened much as of late. It's almost as if every night someone casts a spell on me, or a god decides to play a prank on me. There've been times where I couldn't remember for the life of me what had happened the previous night. The worst incident took place about a decade ago. Over the course of an entire year, I'd forget what had happened almost every single night. It made the year go by much faster, that's for sure! If I had to guess how many days I actually remembered that year, it would probably come around to 150 at most. It's a bit scary to think that my memories of the other half of the year just vanished. I never would've imagined that one day the experience would help me get into character for Lucas. I'd like to give my younger self a pat on the back. Now, let's talk about Rune Factory... From what I've heard, it's a game that appeals to people of all ages. I'm sure that players from every generation will find something to appreciate about Lucas. Which is why I feel that people will enjoy this game for many years to come. Thank you all for listening. And having said all that...
