Reinhard (ラインハルト, Rainharuto) is a young man who is a knight who has pledged his loyalty to the Norad Kingdom. He's talented and is adept at politics, but it's unknown why he has come to Rigbarth. He has a strong sense of duty, and thinks logically and in a clear-headed manner, but not in an overly intrusive manner, so everyone trusts him. However, the protagonist will stumble upon another side to this knight.

• In the Rune Factory 5 Destined Person ♡ Diagnosis Quiz, Reinhard was compared to Arthur from Rune Factory 4/Special. If you're given him as a destined partner, the result reads: "The man of your dreams is Reinhard, a knight loyal to Norad Kingdom. Without hesitation, you'll fall for his communication skills which give him the ability to unashamedly say things that make others happy. The two of you are like oil and water, but for some reason you make it work, becoming attracted to one another. For this big hearted man who likes anything he can eat, giving a gift of a big, hearty meal is recommended!   Hello, everyone. This is Natsuki Hanae, the voice of Reinhard. We finished recording only a moment ago. So Reinhard is Beatrice's super serious attendant. At first, I thought he might seem a bit overbearing. But as you grow closer to Reinhard, you come to know a more gentle side to him. Just performing his lines kind of mellowed me out. He had to deal with poverty in his youth, so that's why he's so considerate of other people. He has an unusually strong sense of justice, and the swordsmanship to back it up. I can definitely see him becoming the kind of character that everybody loves. At least, that's my opinion. So if you feel like dating him, or wanting to take things one step further and tie the knot... Well, I know some of you haven't played the game yet, but I think you'll be surprised to hear a few of the lines that come out of his mouth! Sweet nothings and the like...but you'll just have to play the game to find out exactly what! Now then, let's talk about Rune Factory itself. I was asked what I would do if I had to farm for a living in a world full of monsters. That's a good question... The monsters sound pretty intimidating, so I think I'd stay home and take care of the farm, thanks. I could go fishing, grow vegetables...all that good stuff. I'd just let Reinhard handle any monsters that might show up. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. I'm really looking forward to the release of Rune Factory 5 myself. I'd definitely like to play it! It's time to wrap things up, but I have a message from Reinhard for you before we go. So let's have a listen.
