Trivia

• Each Japanese voice actor has provided commentary on their characters and on Rune Factory 5 as a whole. The following is the English translation of Masami Suzuki's commentary:

Hello there. This is Masami Suzuki, the voice of Julian. Let me begin by saying how happy I am to have played Julian. I was wondering if they would choose me for the role... I'm also hoping that things work out with him and Hina. These kinds of characters who aren't honest about their feelings tend to be overlooked by the people they're pining after. How do you all think it will play out? So Julian is an extremely competitive kid who loves going on adventures, but he also tends to get lost easily. His love of adventures shows that he has a lot of potential for growth. I'd like for him to keep believing in himself, go on lots of adventures, gain plenty of experience...and grow up to be a wonderful man. So Rune Factory's fantasy world...has all sorts of creatures and scenic locations. A world like that would be full of things you couldn't find in ours. I think I'd probably want to go check them out. Or maybe I'd just stay in the town... I've never had a chance to get my hands dirty in a field before, so I'd like to give it a try. Just the thought of that sounds relaxing to me. I really want to give it a go. And all the animals look so cute. I just want to let that cuteness wash over me. Anyway, when you consider a character like Julian...you can see that he's a colorful figure with a strong will. I imagine that quite a lot of you are living life in tune with your feelings. So maybe you'll end up wanting to befriend him. Let's end this with something in Julian's voice. Oh no, I got lost again... Where the heck am I?!
