Hina (ひな, Hina) is a were-animal character introduced as an individual seeking help from the protagonist through their protection. She's easily fascinated by new things, but tends to be shy. She's staying at her uncle Murakumo's inn with her mother, Misasagi.

  Hello! This is Shiina Natsukawa, the voice of Hina! Thanks for tuning in, everyone. Have you beaten Rune Factory 5 already? Or have you yet to play it? I bet you're getting ready to have some fun with it. I have some experience playing the Rune Factory series myself. It's a series near and dear to my heart, so I was overjoyed to hear that I would voice Hina for this game. Since it lets you live a laidback farming life and do battles with monsters and so on, I think it's one of those games you could just play forever. If I ever ended up in Rune Factory's world...I'd probably pass on the fighting and focus on the farming. Now, let's talk about Hina... In Rune Factory 5, Hina is one of the kids living in Rigbarth. The town doesn't have many children overall. She's this sweet, innocent kid that I think any one of you would be happy to have around. I kept that idea in mind while I was recording my lines. Hashimoto, the producer, gave me some feedback on my performance. He told me that I really managed to capture the way a child's emotions will change at the drop of a hat. I was very glad to hear that! Have you all made friends with Hina? Ah, that's right. Some of you probably haven't started playing yet. Well, regardless of whether you have or haven't beaten the game... I hope that you and Hina become good friends. She might even have some extra nice things to say to you!
