Maria Gets Sick

• Description: The Player visits Maria's house, and is greeted by her mother, Anna. Anna says Maria is sick and suggests the Player visit her. If the Player selects "OK", the screen will fade in to Maria's room. After talking to Maria and looking around her room, which is optional, Maria thanks the Player for visiting and the event increases her affection level towards him.
• Requirements: Raise Maria's Heart Affection Level to Green, and go to her house.

Maria Sprains Her Ankle

• Description: The Player enters the Flower Bud Library and sees Maria laying on the floor. If he goes up and interacts, she says she has sprained her ankle. If the Player selects "Carry her", it will raise Maria's affection level towards him. If the Player selects "Get help", Harris will come to assist Maria, and it will raise her affection level with Harris.
• Requirements: Raise Maria's Heart Affection Level to Green.

Dream Event: A Fairytale Book

• Description: The Player has a dream about an old Fairytale book when he was visiting Flowerbud Village as a child. The day after the dream happens, go to Flower Bud Library. When you try to interact with the book on her desk, she will ask if you gave her that book a long time ago. If the Player selects "Yes", it will raise Maria's affection level towards him.
• Requirements: Raise Maria's Heart Affection Level to Yellow.

Special Photo: Firefly Night

• Description: If you hang around after the shipper leaves she may stop by and show you a beautiful sight of fireflies in the mountains.
  Spoiler warning: below drop-down contains special photo image.

• Requirements: Raise Maria's heart level to yellow heart before Year 1 Summer or Year 2 Summer, and be single.

Maria's Love Confession

• Description: The Player is caught by Maria in town, and she confesses her love for him.
• Requirements: Be at a Pink Heart with Maria.

Dealing With The Salesman

• Participants: Maria, Mayor, Anna, Sammy
• Description: The Player catches the Mayor talking to his wife Anna about how he was swindled. Anna comforts her husband. After the Player leaves toward Branch Road, he catches Maria confronting Sammy the salesman. Maria asks Sammy if he's really happy getting money, and Sammy asks her if she's uncomfortable hurting people. After Sammy excuses himself, Maria gives him her gold pendant. A day later, the Player receives a letter from Sammy with the gold pendant inside. The Player can return it to Maria.
• Requirements: Be friends with the Mayor, Anna and Maria.

Herding Beetles

• Participants: Maria, Kent, Stu
• Description: The Player enters Moon Mountain and sees Maria, Kent and Stu talking. Maria is giving Kent and Stu advice on how to find beetles. The Player walks up and picks up a beetle, and Kent asks if he can have it. If the Player selects "Yes", Kent is happy, and his affection level towards the Player. If the Player selects "No", Kent is upset, and it lowers his affection.
• Requirements: Be friends with Maria, Kent, and Stu.

The Life and Times of a Caterpillar

• Participants: Maria, Popuri
• Description: The Player overhears Popuri and Maria talking near the Goddess Spring. Popuri is giving Maria the caterpillars she collected off of her plants. Maria says it's a shame to get rid of them because they grow into beautiful butterflies and it's natural that they have to eat leaves, but Popuri says they eat her leaves and it's natural other predators eat caterpillars. Maria thinks Popuri is mean for her observation.
• Requirements: Raise Maria and Popuri's heart affection levels to Green.

Karen Looks Like A Bug

• Participants: Maria, Karen
• Description: The Player sees Maria and Karen when walking towards the Craftsman's House in Moon Mountain. Maria is trying to help Karen remove a grasshopper from Karen's hair, but Karen is panicking. After Maria removes it successfully, she observes it looks like Karen. Karen is offended, and storms off. Maria quietly murmurs her apology, but the only one who hears it is the Player.
• Requirements: Raise Maria and Karen's heart affection levels to Green.

Cooking Fish Is Delish

• Participants: Maria, Elli
• Description: The Player sees Maria and Elli cooking fish near the river in Moon Mountain. Maria compliments Elli's cooking technique, and Elli says it's taking a life and eating it, so she might as well make a good meal of it out of respect. After Maria expresses interest in learning how to cook fish, Elli offers to teach her and they share the fish.
• Requirements: Raise Maria and Elli's heart affection levels to Green.

Watermelons

• Participants: Maria, Ann
• Description: The Player witnesses Ann yelling at Maria. Maria is trying to explain while teary-eyed that the salesman needed to sell the watermelons sitting next to her or he'd have problems. Ann knows Maria was duped, and is exasperated with Maria. Despite her exasperation, Ann wants to help Maria. If the Player walks by and selects "Buy" when Ann offers to sell him a watermelon, both Ann and Maria will raise their heart affection levels towards the Player.

• Description: While going through town near the Flower Bud Library, the Player sees Harris on his route delivering mail. He stops at the library's mailbox and pauses. Maria hands him a letter. He notices there isn't an address on the letter, and Maria tells him it's for him. Flustered, Harris runs away.
• Requirements: Have Maria's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Harris.

Maria, Harris and the Salesman

• Participants: Maria, Harris
• Description: The Player spots Sammy the Salesman talking to Maria. He's trying to pressure her into buying beauty products. Harris walks by and gets angry at the salesman. He states that Maria is already beautiful and doesn't need his products. Disappointed, Sammy leaves, and Maria apologizes to Harris and says she'll change. Harris tells her she doesn't have to change, and he leaves.
• Requirements: Have Maria's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Harris.

• Description: Harris stops by the farm to tell the Player he's getting married, and the Player is invited.

There's two pieces of unused content for Maria that didn't make the final cut.

Maria's Book

Instead of just seeing Maria's book in one of the scenes, it had a description as an item as well. Was it supposed to be given as a reward for seeing an event, like in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town? It's possible it was also similar to the items the bachelorettes gave the Player on his birthday if they were at Pink Heart to stay forever in his rucksack, but they replaced the book with Maria's painting that hangs in your home over your bed.

• If you don't name your baby, Maria will ask her mother Anna to name him. She gives your child the name "Leo".
• Maria's age is estimated to be 21 based on a combination of in-game dialogue and the information on her parents referenced in Bokujou Monogatari 2 Official Guide Book: Welcome to My Ranch. Harris is 25, and in-game after Maria and Harris are married, Anna mentions they remind her of her and the Mayor when they were young. The age difference between Anna and the Mayor is 4 years, which could mean Maria is 21.
• After the Player marries Maria, Maria helps with crating eggs and pulling weeds.
• Maria is the only bachelorette who has different reactions to your dog as her Affection Level increases. She overcomes her fear of dogs by befriending you. In fact, if you don't befriend her, she won't appear at the Dog Race in Winter.
