  • Description: Cliff passes out in front of your farmhouse. When you give him any edible Item, he revives, and thanks you.
  • Requirements: You can ignore Cliff laying on the ground outside of your farmhouse to skip this scene, but it happens automatically the first Spring.

  • Participants: Cliff
  • Description: Cliff brings the Player some Fish he caught.
  • Requirements: Be friends with Cliff.

Cliff Leaves

  • Participants: Cliff
  • Description: Cliff tells the player that he's leaving town.
  • Requirements: Not be friends with Cliff by Year 2. If you marry Ann and aren't friends with Cliff, he'll say something different.

  • Location: Your Farm
  • Description: Cliff stops by Your Farm in the morning, and gives you some fish he just caught. When he leaves, you hear a thud outside and you exit your farmhouse. The Player witnesses Cliff telling Ann she should watch where she's going, and Ann gets angry and mutters to herself as she figures out who Cliff is.
  • Requirements: Have Ann's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Cliff.

Two Cliffs?

  • Rival Event 2
  • Participants: Cliff, Ann
  • Location: Green Ranch
  • Description: Cliff wanders onto Green Ranch and pets Cliffgard, Green Ranch's prized race horse. Ann yells at him, asking him what he's doing to her horse Cliff. When Cliff explains they have the same name and that must be why they shared a bond, she says Cliffgard is much more handsome than Cliff and storms off. Cliff is left confused at why Ann became so angry.
  • Requirements: Have Ann's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Cliff.

Ann Talks To Cliff

  • Rival Event 3
  • Participants: Cliff, Ann
  • Location: Branch Road
  • Description: When Cliff spots Ann at Branch Road, he explains he's decided to leave because he doesn't want to be betrayed one day by people he started to like in town. Ann scolds him for being stupid and being scared of the possibilities. Cliff looks disappointed after the encounter.
  • Requirements: Have Ann's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Cliff.

Cliff and Ann Marry

  • Participants: Cliff, Ann
  • Description: Cliff stops by the farm to tell the Player he's getting married, and the Player is invited.
  • Requirements: Have Ann's Heart Affection Level below Green, and have seen the previous three Rival Events with Cliff and Ann.
