The Mayor is a bit of a pushover and sometimes succumbs to scams, as seen in his interactions with Sammy the Salesman. He's overly trusting in others, but is kind and loves his family.

  • Description: The Potion Master takes Stu with him to ride the Hot Air Balloon at the Sowing Festival.
  • Requirements: This only happens in Year 1.

Dealing With The Salesman

  • Participants: Mayor, Maria, Anna, Sammy
  • Description: The Player catches the Mayor talking to his wife Anna about how he was swindled. Anna comforts her husband. After the Player leaves toward Branch Road, he catches Maria confronting Sammy the salesman. Maria asks Sammy if he's really happy getting money, and Sammy asks her if she's uncomfortable hurting people. After Sammy excuses himself, Maria gives him her gold pendant. A day later, the Player receives a letter from Sammy with the gold pendant inside. The Player can return it to Maria.
  • Requirements: Be friends with the Mayor, Anna and Maria.

Chestnut Festival

Sometime after the Egg Festival, HM64 was supposed to have an event where the villagers gathered chestnuts in Moon Mountain. This is an activity usually performed between an individual and someone they are close to. After the chestnuts are collected, there’s usually a small gathering after.
