Unused Content

Underground exploration was removed in Harvest Moon 64, which led to the cut of the Harvest Sprites' Tunnel. There's still visuals left in the game of a possible entrance to it, but content involving actually entering this area is unused content.

Harvest Sprites' Tunnel

It looks like your barn was built right on top of the old Harvest Sprites' tunnel. The door to the tunnel was even left open for viewing, but it's too small for you to enter. It doesn't look like any of the Harvest Sprites use this tunnel anymore, given that they now reside in the caves of Moon Mountain.

Trivia

• Two of the Harvest Sprites' names are Billy and Arthur.
• The Harvest Sprites mention that the Vineyard's grape vines have been sleeping for the past 20 years, but were awake when the lady who made the Door to Heaven (Karen's Grandmother, Eve) was alive. That means Eve died 20 years prior to the beginning of the game.
• According to in-game dialogue, the Harvest Sprites have tunnels that lead from your farm to Moon Mountain. The caves under your farm were accessible in the first Harvest Moon, but cannot be entered in Harvest Moon: 64.
