This game drops the old fashioned BtN-baby style and reverts to the new AWL style, where you never actually see your son as a baby. As soon as he is born he will already by walking around the house and talking a little bit. You can give him gifts too to influence him.
Each wife has their son respectably except the "special" wives (Goddess, Witch Princess, Mermaid) who will have a random child. If you get the child you don't want, just reload your save and you will have a different child! Since Flora is a new wife, she also has a new child.
