Alex is the town's main doctor. He spends his time in his clinic, in the mine, or wandering around his clinic.
Events and Requirements
You can meet Alex by going inside the Clinic for the first time, or using all of your stamina and fainting which will then play an alternate version of the Zero Stamina scene. Alex will introduce himself after your character wakes up, and then tell you to take better care of your body.
Zero Stamina
If your stamina bar reaches zero your character will faint, and a cutscene will play after the screen goes black. In it your character wakes up in the Clinic and Alex will walk in to tell you that you worked too hard, and to take better care of your body. Shaking his head he tells you to go home for the day and rest. After the cutscene you will be back home and it will be the next day.
If this was the first time your character fainted you will obtain the Limitation Note.
Two Hearts
When your relationship with Alex reaches two hearts he will knock on your door the next morning to give you some herbs he found. He'll tell you to use them however you like so you can sell, eat, or regift them. After he waves goodbye you will obtain the Doctor Note.
Five Hearts
When your relationship with Alex reaches five hearts he will knock on your door again the following morning. He asks how your character is feeling and tells you he made a potion and brought it over. He says to use it when you're tired and then blushes. He believes you should rest and relax as you work too hard, and then tells you how to make the potion yourself.
