You first meet him and Tai after going inside the Blacksmith for the first time.
Moonlight Mine Power Berry
At 100th level of Moonlight Mine you'll encounter Tim, who was feeling lost and frightened until you showed up, and he gives you one of the handful of Power Berries awarded in the game. If you haven't unlocked Tim he will NOT be down there and you won't get the Power Berry.
Lost Child
In order to trigger this event you will need both Tim and Meryl at 2 hearts in your relationships with them.
One night when returning to your house you hear frantic knocking on your door. Back outside Theodore tells you that Tim and Meryl have gone missing and that a search for them is being organized. You are asked to come help and you agree. After some cut-scenes you find the them, and at the end of the event you are rewarded with a Musical Note.
