Thomas appears to be the same character who appears in Friends of Mineral Town, More Friends of Mineral Town, and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town ― also called Thomas (トーマス). This is further evidenced by his introduction dialogue, where he references Claire's attack in More Friends of Mineral Town.
