Description

Popuri is the daughter of Lillia, the owner of the Poultry Farm. Even though she believes she's extremely responsible, her brother Rick doesn't let her do any of the more complicated work on their farm because he thinks she can't handle it.

Personality

She's shy and sweet, but she has strong emotions once in awhile that lead to quarrels with her brother.

How to Trigger:

• You must be Dating
• Weather must be Sunny
• When: 10:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday, Not a Holiday or Festival Day
• Where: Your Farm (Exit your house to trigger)
• About: Popuri has come to visit you at your farm. She explains that she wanted to cook something today, but thought that it would be a nice idea if the two of you could try doing so together. She even brought fresh eggs from her farm! Popuri makes it a point to tell you that she worked really hard to get these eggs, though you do tease her about taking them without permission. Coyly, Popuri says she'll forgive the insult if you cook a full meal for her. Omelette Rice and Chocolate Cake, please! Oh, and don't forget some pudding for Lillia, too! If you don't have these recipes, Popuri will give them to you. She's even brought all of the other ingredients! You should be grateful that she was so considerate to think ahead about this! Popuri is always a reliable girl. The two of you head back to her house and get to work in the kitchen...or so you think. Popuri leaves the work to you with the excuse that she doesn't like handling knives and sharp objects. You will be a dear and chop those ingredients, won't you? The two of you work on mixing the ingredients into a bowl and it soon turns out looking like consumable cuisine. Popuri asks for your opinion.

• Okay, you didn't need to say it like that, but!...Popuri wasn't expecting the process to go so smoothly either. Rick always tells her that she can't do this sort of thing properly. He only lets her set the table, instead of helping in the kitchen. She can do more and wants to do more, but no one ever lets her try. She hates being treated like a child. That changed today, however! Popuri CAN cook, so take that, Rick! She can't wait to show off her newly-made dishes to Rick and Lillia. It's all thanks to your help. Popuri wants to cook more with you sometime, and hopes you enjoy the pudding she gives to you as a present. She thanks you again for the help and sends you home.

• When: 11:00AM - 3:00PM, Tuesday, Not a Holiday or Festival Day
• Where: In front of Poultry Farm (Exit from the Blacksmith's to trigger)
• About: Exit the Blacksmith's and you'll overhear an argument between Popuri and Rick. Popuri storms off away from him, directly bumping into you. Perfect timing! Popuri needs someone to listen to her woes, and hopes you'll be her shoulder to lean on. You agree, and the two of you head to the forest near Gotz's Carpentry. When Popuri is satisfied that no one is around to eavesdrop, she explains that she and Rick were arguing over their mother's health. It's not an emergency, nor does Lillia have to visit the Clinic. However, she's a bit more listless than usual, and today she couldn't even finish her morning meal. It has Popuri worried. She wants to go find Lillia's favorite flower and give them to her in a big bouquet as a present. Popuri also admits she should apologize to Rick for her outburst, and wants to bring some back for him as well. You tell Popuri you think this is a great idea, and she's happy you agree! You'll go to pick them with her, won't you? Of course, you can't say no to Popuri, and she exclaims happily that only the biggest and best flowers are right for her mother. You both set out to look for them. She spots a flower that's close to you and calls out, asking you to pick it for her. She continues to shout different directions, all of which you follow, until she claims that it wasn't a flower she saw after all. At this point you're starting to feel like you're being taken for a ride...

• Oh...Those words sting. Popuri apologizes for getting carried away and making selfish demands. She starts to cry a little, but admits that you're in the right. The two of you end up next to Goddess Spring as Popuri explains herself. She'd been left all alone with her sick mother while Rick was busy managing store duties in Lillia's place. When she tried offering help, Rick brushed her off and continued to work as if she weren't there. It's always like this. She wants to help her family out, but no one treats her as an adult. When she ran into you and saw how you were willing to do things for her, she took advantage of the situation and used it to boss you around in retaliation...It wasn't very kind. She hopes that you aren't mad and don't think that she's too selfish. You tell her that you don't think that way, and Popuri thanks you for allowing her to vent her frustrations. You suggest that she could be more of a help to her family if she cleaned and did simple housework when everyone else is busy. What a great idea! Popuri's spirit livens up as she's found a new determination to become more helpful to her family. She's going to change for the better, and hopes to show you her progress. After thanking you again for the help, Popuri mentions that she'll apologize to Rick. Then, she heads back home.
  

"Enough!" (-FP/LP)

• You're sick of Popuri's endless orders! Annoyed, you storm off and leave Popuri by herself. She calls after you, asking you not to go, but you're already gone and her words fall on deaf ears. She reflects on the situation, admitting that she was being pretty selfish. It was terribly inconsiderate, and she apologizes to you (though you don't hear it face to face).

Starry Night Festival

• Requirements: Have a high enough affection level with Popuri to receive a letter in the mail a day before. Meet her at 6:00PM at Poultry Farm.
