Popuri Stops By

  • Description: In the morning, Popuri will stop by and give the Player a refreshing snack or drink to renew his energy. The first time she visits she must be at a Blue Heart, and the second time she visits she will have a Green Heart.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri's Heart Affection level to Blue, then to Green.

Popuri Gets Sick

  • Description: The Player visits Popuri's house, and is greeted by her mother, Lillia. Lillia says Popuri is sick and suggests the Player visit her. If the Player selects "OK", the screen will fade in to Popuri's room. After talking to Popuri and looking around her room, which is optional, Popuri tells the Player she feels better and the event increases her affection level towards him.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri's Heart Affection Level to Green, and go to her house.

Popuri Sprains Her Ankle

  • Description: The Player enters Moon Mountain by the Craftsman's House and sees Popuri laying on the ground. If he goes up and interacts, she says she has sprained her ankle. If the Player selects "Carry her", it will raise Popuri's affection level towards him. If the Player selects "Get help", Gray will come to assist Popuri, and it will raise her affection level with Gray.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri's Heart Affection Level to Green.

Dream Event: Dangerous Flowers

  • Description: The Player has a dream about a girl falling. The day after the dream occurs, go to Moon Mountain by crossing over the bridge from the Hot Springs. You'll see Popuri dangling from the edge of the cliff. If you walk up to her and interact from the edge of the cliff by the tree, you can pull her up. She thanks the Player and asks if he helped her before when she was younger. If the Player selects "Think so", it will raise Popuri's affection towards him.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri's Heart Affection Level to Yellow.

Special Photo: The Blue Mist Flower

  • Description: The Blue Mist Flower. In the second year Lillia will get these rare seeds in. After buying it, Popuri will give you some help planting it in the right place. From there, keep watering the flower and once it's grown you'll receive this photo. The Blue Mist Flower grows in Spring to Summer, costs 500g and takes 8 days to grow. Note: (The Blue Mist Flower is a special flower that you can only get the seed for on the 25th of Spring. You plant it in the forest with Popuri. You must water it every day and you get a picture when the flower is fully grown.)

  • Requirements: Raise Popuri's heart level to yellow heart, grow the Blue Mist Flower, and be single.

Popuri's Love Confession

  • Description: The Player is caught by Popuri in Moon Mountain, and she confesses her love for him.
  • Requirements: Be at a Pink Heart with Popuri.

Town Events

These are events that occur with other villagers in-game.

Basil Arrives

  • Participants: Popuri, Basil
  • Description: When exiting your farm, you'll see Basil waiting for you. He'll introduce himself. Popuri walks in and says that Basil should hurry home, they've been waiting for him. Basil twirls Popuri around, and she grows even more irritated. They both leave.
  • Requirements: This event occurs when first meeting Basil on Spring 15th.

The Life and Times of a Caterpillar

  • Participants: Popuri, Maria
  • Description: The Player overhears Popuri and Maria talking near the Goddess Spring. Popuri is giving Maria the caterpillars she collected off of her plants. Maria says it's a shame to get rid of them because they grow into beautiful butterflies and it's natural that they have to eat leaves, but Popuri says they eat her leaves and it's natural other predators eat caterpillars. Maria thinks Popuri is mean for her observation.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri and Maria's heart affection levels to Green.

Caaaake

  • Participants: Popuri, Elli
  • Description: The Player enters the Bakery and sees Popuri ordering cake, pie and tea. Elli says she's envious of Popuri because she never gains weight. While Elli gets her order from the back room, Jeff gives Popuri her tea and says that girls should be a little bigger, because it's healthier. Popuri teases him that it must be the way he likes women, and he says girls shouldn't force themselves to diet because they're attractive. Elli returns and gives Popuri her order, and Popuri leaves.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri and Elli's heart affection levels to Green.

Karen Makes Booze Out of EVERYTHING

  • Participants: Popuri, Karen
  • Description: The Player sees Karen and Popuri talking, and Popuri gives Karen a flower. Karen asks if she could turn the flower into wine, and Popuri teases that she's always making wine out of everything. Karen says it tastes good, and Popuri asks if she can taste the Moondrop wine when it's finished. Karen says she can, and leaves.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri and Karen's heart affection levels to Green.

Ann and Popuri Talk Some

  • Participants: Popuri, Ann
  • Description: Upon seeing Popuri and Ann talking, the Player overhears Ann saying her brother is annoying. Popuri observes that Gray is just concerned about Ann. Ann admits that's true, but she says it's still annoying. Popuri says she would love to have a brother like him, and Ann accidentally says it would complicate things if Gray was Popuri's brother. Popuri asks Ann about it, and Ann quickly leaves.
  • Requirements: Raise Popuri and Ann's heart affection levels to Green.

  • Participants: Popuri, Gray
  • Description: The Player spots Gray coming out of the Flower Shop. Popuri stops Gray and gives him his flower seeds. Gray asks the Player if he thinks it's strange he bought seeds. If the Player says "Not really.." Gray's affection level will raise.
  • Requirements: Have Popuri's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Gray.

Gray's Flowers

  • Rival Event 2
  • Participants: Popuri, Ann, Gray mentioned
  • Description: Popuri sees the flowers Gray planted and asks Ann if she planted them. Ann says Gray did, and that he babied them. She says it's something you wouldn't expect from someone who looks like Gray. Popuri tells her not to say something like that - looks have nothing to do with growing flowers. Ann says she only said it because he has such a scary face when he tends to the flowers. Popuri laughs, and says that's just Gray and then leaves.
  • Requirements: Have Popuri's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Gray.

Gray Hard At Work

  • Rival Event 3
  • Participants: Popuri, Gray
  • Description: When entering Green Ranch, the Player sees Gray and Popuri standing near each other. Gray tells Popuri not to get too close - he's been working with manure. Popuri says it doesn't bother her because she uses fertilizer on her flowers, and she doesn't mind the smell.
  • Requirements: Have Popuri's Heart Affection Level below Green, and be friends with Gray.

Gray and Popuri's Marriage

  • Rival Event 4
  • Participants: Popuri, Gray
  • Description: Gray stops by the farm to tell the Player he's getting married, and the Player is invited.
  • Requirements: Have Popuri's Heart Affection Level below Green, and have seen the previous three Rival Events with Gray and Popuri.

  • If Popuri and Gray marry, they will name their child Mint. This may be a shout out to the Sound programmer for HM64, Tyaki Sachiko/Mint.
  • Popuri's age is estimated to be 18 based on a combination of in-game dialogue and the age of Basil referenced in Bokujou Monogatari 2 Official Guide Book: Welcome to My Ranch. Basil is 36 at the start of the game and also mentions that Popuri is like a flower that just bloomed, a possible hint of her turning 18 within the last year.
  • After the bridge is built, Popuri says "Grandma's place" is now accessible, but Yone is not her grandma. Popuri's actual grandmother on Lillia's side is hinted at having passed on due to her Flower Festival dialogue, and Basil grew up out of town. Grandma is a popular nickname given to older women.
  • After marriage, Popuri helps crate the eggs and waters random spots on the field where there's tilled soil.
