Sugar Village is in trouble. Alice, leader of the Leisure Land company is going to tear down the beloved place to make way for her new theme park. The Goddess the land has sent out a plea for help... will you save her and countless other's home?
You will?
Great. Here's how:
Sugar Valley differs mostly from Save the Homeland in that you may not have to complete any endings at all to beat the game. All you need to continue on and save the village is 50,000G by the end of the second year -- but just doing that wouldn't be any fun, would it? There are 16 different 'character endings' that you can complete to enrich your game play experience and gain certain benefits. This will also make the final ending all that much more exciting. This means, basically, that several plotlines can advance at once. You'll have until winter 30th of the 2nd year to complete as many endings as possible, but remember that after that point you will not be able to trigger any 'ending' events.
However, it's not just as simple as witnessing endings this time either. There are four different "Final ends" to the entire story line.
Final Endings
| Name | Condition | How to unlock |
| Bad Ending | Leisure land's construction begins, your game is stopped and you must start over | None of the other ending's conditions are met |
| Final Ending 1 | You pay Alice 50,000G to stop building, though the events are lackluster | Have not completed the Mecha Ending, have 50,000G on your person |
| Final Ending 2 | You stop the construction of Leisure Land by giving money, but Alice, Charles and Renton leave the village | You only got through the 4th Mecha event, have 50,000G on your person |
| Final Ending 3 | You stop the construction of Leisure Land by giving money, but Alice, Charles and Renton leave the village | At the end of the Mecha Ending, you did not answer [I want to protect it] (守りたい), have 50,000G on your person |
| Final Ending 4 | You stop the construction of Leisure Land without having to pay, and Alice, Charles and Renton stay in the village | At the end of the Mecha event, you answered [I want to protect it] (守りたい), have 50,000G on your person |
