The game is very similar to Harvest Moon in that it's objective remains to be maintaining a successful farm, befriending the village's inhabitants and getting married. The player also nurtures crops and monsters (Akin to livestock), fishing, mining, collecting items, home and tool improvements and building personal friendships, but also includes dungeon crawling, levelling up and synthesising several items. Players again must balance time and strength on a day-to-day basis until they complete the central story in the game, allowed to play limitessly after in endless gameplay.
