Introduction
Magical Melody is the thirteenth installment in the Harvest Moon series, released for Nintendo Gamecube and later ported to the Nintendo Wii. The protagonist sees an advertisement for something called The Exciting Ranch Plan in Flowerbud Village, and wanting a refreshing change in life, moves onto a ranch. After moving in to the village, the player finds the Harvest Goddess sealed in stone since the people of Flowerbud Village have forgotten her existence. The Sprites and the Goddess depend on the protagonist to restore the Harvest Goddess to her former glory by collect 100 musical notes. By during various tasks throughout the village and competing against their rival, Jamie, the protagonist will rebuild the village.
