Description

Ventuswill, the Divine Wind (セルザウィード, Seruzawiido), also known as Venti or Ven, is the resident guardian god of Selphia and one of the four Native Dragons. Though she maintains a front of formality with the people of Selphia, in truth she actually has an extremely sarcastic, childish personality, which is accidentally revealed to the player upon their first meeting. She keeps this side of herself a secret, however, trying her best to keep her distance from others, while simultaneously longing for a close friendship. Because of this, the player is the only one in town which she maintains her casual nature around.

Ventuswill's reasons for hiding her true personality stems from her past relationships with Amber, Dylan, Dolce, and Leon. As a Native Dragon, her power is derived from the runes in the land. Over time, these runes became depleted, greatly weakening her. Out of their love for Ventuswill, each of the four (in their respective time periods) sacrificed themselves to replenish the land with runes so that Ventuswill may continue living, against her wishes. Seeing her friends sacrifice themselves for her was too difficult to bear, and she began to distance herself with the townsfolk in hopes that no one will ever sacrifice themselves for her ever again.
