Van (バァン, Baan) is a traveling merchant visiting Mineral Town from the nearby Forgotten Valley. He runs a store every Wednesday, and a pet shop on the 15th of every season.

He's a jovial man who speaks in a very refined manner, often saying that it is an honor to be able to sell his wares at such a fine place as Mineral Town. His penchant for business is only superseded by his love for community gatherings. This is noted by the fact that he will refuse to open shop on festival days, encouraging full town participation with no distractions.
