Ebisu Garden Room 10th Anniversary Presentation

On November 1st, 2005, Marvelous held a presentation in Ebisu, Shibuya to announce the 10th anniversary projects - Innocent Life and Rune Factory.[2] At the same time, the PC online game titled "Minna de Bokujou Monogatari" was announced.[3] During the presentation, the first series media promotion girl - child actress Riko Narumi - was selected to represent the series in paid ad campaigns.[4]

Guest speakers included:

  • Bokujou Monogatari creator and director, Yasuhiro Wada (和田康宏)
  • Innocent Life producer from Marvelous Interactive, Ogura Takeshi (おぐらたけし)
  • ArtePiazza CEO, Shintaro Majima (眞島真太郎)
  • Marvelous Interactive executive producer, Yoshifumi Hashimoto (はしもとよしふみ)
  • Neverland Company President, Makoto Takada (高田誠)



It was also at this presentation that Wada announced he would no longer be making "For Girl" versions of titles, opting instead to include both gender options from the beginning. His reason for this was that fans were very vocal about wanting the change.[5]

2012 GDC Classic Game Postmortem

  • GDC 2012 ran March 5 through March 9 in San Francisco, California.[7]

In 2012, GDC reintroduced their "Classic Game Postmortem" segment. For this segment, several classic game developers including Yasuhiro Wada were asked to present the development of their series.[8]
