Becoming an Editor for Ranch Story Wiki

• You must first have an account created through this wiki. Write down your password so you don't forget it, and attach a valid email address to your account for verification. This is important!

• Anyone can edit for this wiki after creating an account, all edits are processed through moderation by our editors. If you're interested in becoming part of our team, please join our Discord and @Librarians role with any inquiries. You can also leave inquiries on the Resources Discussion page.

• As an editor for Ranch Story's wiki, we do not allow you to use the information gathered here from other sites/wikis.
  Likewise, we do not allow the use of other databases' information except for documentation purposes. This mostly pertains to games which are no longer in service, and not games which are consumer-available.

Our goal is to provide detailed information for users of the community to utilize for the Story of Seasons games, known in Japan as Bokujō Monogatari (牧場物語, lit. Ranch Story), Rune Factory (ルーンファクトリ), and spin-off and crossovers for both series.

Key Elements

If you're already familiar with wiki editing, there's just a few key elements to our wiki that you need to know.

• This wiki will only have Marvelous-approved games on it for Bokumono. This excludes the 2 Marvelous-licensed, Natsume-developed games: Frantic Farming and Puzzle de Harvest Moon. We have sections for Rune Factory and some spin-offs and crossovers.
• Do not correct grammatical errors in scripts. We try to present the scripts as they are in-game, including all the grammatical errors.
• As an editor for Ranch Story's wiki, we do not allow you to use the information gathered here for other sites. Likewise, we do not allow the use of other databases' information except for documentation purposes. This mostly pertains to games which are no longer in service, and not games which are consumer-available.

And, as a reminder, please be courteous to other wiki editors. All time donated to editing and maintaining this wiki is purely done out of charity by Bokumono fans, so if you don't receive a response right away, please give us a few days to respond to any inquiries or approve edits.
