About
Toby is probably the most laid back person you will ever meet. He loves to fish, which creates a good bond with Renee, who also enjoys this hobby. He lives with his uncle, Ozzie, and his cousin, Paolo, at the Fishery. Very friendly and calm, he's someone you'll get along with easily.
Marriage
To marry Toby, the player must have a heart level of at least nine with him, see all four of his heart events, and receive his love letter. This can be accomplished by talking to Toby every day and by giving him gifts he likes. Once a marriage candidate reaches nine hearts and the player's house has been upgraded to the second level extension, Mira will visit the player's farm in the morning to say that she saw a bluebird fly over Garmon Mountain. The player must visit the top of the mountain between 17:00 and 19:00 to receive the Blue Feather. The player may then propose to Toby with the feather.
After marrying Toby, the player is given a Honeymoon Ticket. Toby will now make the player a lunch every morning, and is available to help out with chores around the farm and go for walks with the player. The player may also view the Summer Festival fireworks and the New Year's Eve countdown with Toby.

Schedule
Before he is married, Toby lives with his uncle, Ozzie, and his cousin, Paolo, at the Fishery in Harmonica Town. He spends most of the day helping out his uncle. However, he takes a break every afternoon to do a little fishing off the town dock. On Sundays, his day off, he spends most of the day fishing in Harmonica Town.
If the player marries Toby, he will move in with the player. He will spend most of his time staying home, only going to help out at the Fishery for a few hours every day. On Sundays, he will stay home all day, hanging around the farmland.
If Toby marries Renee, he will move in with her at Horn Ranch. He returns to the Fishery every day to see his family and help out. However, he takes a day off every Wednesday to stay with Renee. On Wednesdays, he can be found around Flute Fields.
If the weather is stormy, Toby will stay home regardless of whether he is single or married.
