Fishing (Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar)

There are a total of five fishing spots in the game. Each spot has different fish available at different seasons.

Rods

Short fishing Rod

The short fishing rod is given to you by Felix around summer 2 in your first year. The short fishing rod only allows you to catch the fish that are closest to the pier.

Medium Fishing Rod

The medium fishing rod becomes available after the start of year 2 and it can be bought from Felix's bazaar shop for 3000G. The medium fishing rod can catch fish that swim further out than the short rod.

Long Fishing Rod

The long fishing rod becomes available after the start of year 4 and it can be bought from Felix's bazaar shop for 6000G. The long fishing rod can catch the largest of fish at the furthest distance away from the pier.

How to Fish

• When you have received your first rod from Felix go to any pier and equip the rod.
• Press B, when prompted, this will cast out the line and then you have to wait.
• When a ! appears above your head repeatedly press B again and again until the fish is reeled in.
